The heat-resistant borosilicate glass 3.3 we use also complies with the requirements of the pharmaceutical industry and therefore represents the highest standards of quality and safety.

Our entire production takes place in an operating environment that meets today’s international expectations in the fields of health, occupational safety and environmental protection.

Individual branding based on existing products

The broad Trendglas Jena assortment offers a reliable foundation for partners seeking products that match their own brand identity.

Single- or multi-color logo branding alongside the Trendglas Jena brand is available even for smaller order quantities.

For larger projects, we also offer the option of a fully independent brand presence.

Existing glass bodies and design possibilities

In many cases, the glass body forms the most important starting point for an OEM product.
In addition to our own mold inventory, existing freely available molds from our manufacturing partner are also available, further expanding the design possibilities.
Beyond these existing options, we are also open to realizing individual shapes based on our partners’ ideas.

Spout solutions

In many cases, the spout is an important element that affects both the design and the functionality of the finished product.

The Trendglas Jena range includes several proven standard solutions, while custom variations tailored to partner requirements are also possible.

The technical feasibility of individual solutions is evaluated according to the desired shape, intended use and production conditions.

Handle solutions and design options

The shape of the handle has a significant influence on the ergonomics, appearance and usability of the finished product.

In addition to our existing handle forms, we are also open to individual designs and carry out both production and attachment to the glass body within our own manufacturing environment.

The material used for this component is also borosilicate glass 3.3 from the German plant of SCHOTT AG, ensuring a consistently high level of quality for this part as well.

Additional components and complementary elements

In many cases, developing a complete product also requires the thoughtful combination of complementary elements with different materials and functions.

We therefore offer the integration of components made of wood, bamboo, plastic, silicone, metal and porcelain.

Glass components such as lids, filters or saucers can also be part of the final product structure, aligned with the partner’s requirements.

Laser technology

Our laser glass processing system, put into operation in 2019, has already become a proven technological solution in the production of several premium Trendglas Jena products.

Our technology makes it possible, among other things, to:
• precisely create micro-holes from 0.3 mm in diameter
• produce blind holes
• cut circles, squares and triangles
• realize custom shapes in glass

This technology also opens up new functional and design possibilities for OEM projects, going beyond traditional glass processing methods.

Double-walled glass products

In the course of developing our double-walled products, we created not only a new product group but also a unique technological solution based on high-quality glass material from Germany.

The advantages of our technology:

• uniform and identical wall thickness for both glass bodies
• uncompromising premium appearance
• reliable usability even under heavy use
• genuine added value in the premium segment

Our double-walled technology serves as a prime example of the diverse possibilities in glass processing and demonstrates that new, customized solutions can be developed to meet specific requirements.

Product planning / development / manufacturing

The partial solutions presented can also be valuable in themselves, but their real strength lies in the way they can come together as building blocks for the development and production of a complete product.

Our partners may also present us with a finished product drawing. However, we find that cooperation is often more successful when we are involved from the planning stage. This allows us to coordinate design, technical possibilities and manufacturability.

Our support therefore extends from simple individual tasks all the way to the fully packaged and delivered product.

Quality control and packaging

Quality control is a key element of the manufacturing process.

In addition to our ISO 9001 system, we place particular importance on considering partner requirements and individual specifications during final inspection and, wherever possible, incorporating them into our own quality control system.

In the final phase on the way to the finished product, we can also support packaging at several levels – from industrial transport packaging to the design and implementation of complete product packaging.

Quality / Our Glass

The foundation of Trendglas Jena products is high-quality borosilicate glass 3.3, made from glass produced in Germany, combined with certified quality, continuous technological development, and decades of experience in the field of heat-resistant glass products.

Our glass products are developed and manufactured to meet the requirements of high-quality applications in the home as well as in professional gastronomy in every essential respect – in functionality, safety, durability, and appearance.

Our products – or rather our borosilicate glass – are:

• heat-resistant up to 450 °C
• suitability for oven, microwave, dishwasher, and common cooktops (gas, electric, glass-ceramic)
• a hygienic, non-porous, easy-to-clean surface
• especially recommended for allergy sufferers

Design

The design of Trendglas Jena is not only an aesthetic advantage, but also an essential part of our brand’s market positioning.

Our design language is partly shaped by the heritage of Jena glassmaking, while our development focuses on products that meet today’s market requirements, are well suited for production, and deliver strong functionality.
